I have divorce papers from the 1950s...one spouse alleges the other didn't cook meals, one spouse was uneducated, wife entertained someone not her husband, etc. How much of this is reliable as the truth and how much do you think was fabricated by the attorneys to justify the divorce?
Answer
Most of those kitchen sink deals were fabricated to match the requirements in a state for divorce. Mine says I refused to sleep or live with him for three years. A fiction, but required at the time. Permalink:
